The Federal Bridge Corporation Limited (FBCL) is a parent Crown corporation that provides stewardship of the Canadian federal interest in four international bridge crossings in Ontario:

• Blue Water Bridge (Point Edward/Sarnia)
• Sault Ste. Marie International Bridge (Sault Ste. Marie)
• Thousand Islands International Bridge (Lansdowne/Ivy Lea area)
• Seaway International Bridge Crossing (Cornwall)

FBCL is incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act, is listed in Schedule III, Part I of the Financial Administration Act, and is an agent of His Majesty in Right of Canada.

We are accountable to Parliament through the Minister of Transport.
Our head office is in Ottawa, Ontario.

FBCL’s current structure reflects a series of amalgamations completed in 2015, including amalgamation with the St. Mary’s River Bridge Company and the Blue Water Bridge Authority in accordance with the authorities provided by the Economic Action Plan 2013 Act, No. 2. The remaining planned amalgamation in this Act, with the Corporation’s wholly owned subsidiary, The Seaway International Bridge Corporation Ltd, has not been realized to date.
